1  Scope

This document specifies the classification,designation, order content, dimensions, shape, weight and permissibledeviation, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging,marking and quality certificates for seamless cold-drawn or cold-rolled steeltubes for precision applications.

This document is applicable to manufacturingseamless cold-drawn or cold-rolled steel tubes for precision applications(hereinafter referred to as steel pipes) with special dimensional accuracy andhigh surface quality requirements for mechanical structures, hydraulicequipment and automobile parts.
